The Cuan supporting the NI Cancer Fund for Children
The Cuan has selected the N Ireland Cancer Fund for Children as their charity for this year. The entire staff are planning a variety of events in the course of the year with the main event, an Art Auction, taking place on Sat 25th August at 3:00pm.
The NICFC offers practical and emotional support to children, teenagers and young adults aged 0-24 living with cancer as well as their parents, guardians and siblings. Our intentions are to give over The Cuan on one or more weekends (depending on the level of funds raised).
During their time with us the children and their family’s will be provided with accommodation, food and entertainment along with a trip to Castleward, face painting, a clown, a trip on a sea safari and a visit to the aquarium in Portaferry.
Our intention for this weekend is to provide a safe, comfortable environment in which these children and their family’s are afforded the time to spend very precious moments together and enjoy being looked after by all our dedicated staff.
