Since the epic swell of rousing support that led to his appointment as King of the North, war has broken out between the North and King’s landing. Therefore, to see if compromise is an option Jon has invited Queen Cersei, the current holder of the Iron Throne, to dine with him in an effort to quell the growing disquiet and increasing tensions that are mounting in Westeros. But all is not well… threats of assignation and murder engulf the air, single minded egos and long standing quests for revenge were rife, it will not be long until some bloody act could spark all out carnage.

Game of Thrones at The Cuan
The Cuan was the cast’s choice for accommodation, food and drink while filming Series 1& 2 at Winterfell Castle (only 1 mile from The Cuan). Ned Stark (Sean Bean), King Robert, Queen Cerssi, Joffrery, Jon Snow, Catalyn, Ayra and Bran Stark made The Cuan their home over a number of weeks. We got to know their room preferences, favourite foods and special requests for breakfast while quickly becoming intrigued by the storyline of Game of Thrones. Through our connections we got onsite to see the filming of various scenes, in particular the arrival of King Robert and his entourage to Winterfell Castle to ask Ned Stark to be the King’s Hand, we look forward to sharing that story with you.
